Dental Implants for Multiple Missing Teeth
Dental implants have long been recognized for their long-lasting results and their stability when the process is complete, but conventional implants tend to come at very high prices that can add up quickly if you are looking to replace multiple teeth. Traditional dental implants generally cost several thousand dollars per implant, meaning that replacing multiple teeth could end up being more expensive than you bargained for.
This is why the Stabili-Teeth™ protocol exists -- Stabili-Teeth™ is your same day, lower cost solution so that you can enjoy the smile of your dreams without having to worry about the cost.
That said, there are a few things you should know before you get your dental implant procedure done, and being prepared for the procedure will help you know what to expect.
What Are the Different Types of Dental Implants Available?
There are several different types of dental implants for you to choose from, and understanding all of the options available to you can help you make a more informed decision regarding which choice may be the best for your situation.
There are two main types of implant options available:
Endosteal implants are implants that are surgically placed into your jawbone so that your natural bone grows up and around the implant to hold it in place. Endosteal implants are the most commonly used type of implant.
Subperiosteal implants are implants that get surgically placed below your gum but on or above your jawbone rather than inside of it. Subperiosteal implants may be a better option for patients who do not want to undergo a bone grafting procedure because of the extra costs, but who do not have enough natural bone to support endosteal implants.
Aside from these two types of implants, there are also:
Immediate load implants, which allow for a temporary tooth to be placed on the same day as your surgery, which may be ideal if you do not want to have to worry about being left without functional teeth while your mouth heals
Mini dental implants, which are more narrow than conventional implants and thus require a less extensive surgery in order for them to be placed. Mini dental implants are also commonly referred to as narrow diameter implants.
The Stabili-Teeth™ protocol uses a unique combination of both narrow diameter implants and conventional implants for an easier surgery and great results.
What Does a Dental Implant Procedure Entail For Conventional Implants?
When it is time to undergo your dental implant procedure, you should expect the process to start off with the following things:
A comprehensive dental exam, which may include X-rays and 3D images as well as models made of your teeth and jaw
A review of your medical history to discuss any medical conditions you have or any medications you are taking so that the procedure can be approached in a way that will be best-suited for your individual situation
A treatment plan which will be tailored to your needs and will take into account exactly how many teeth you will be replacing as well as the current condition of your jawbone and remaining teeth
From here, the dental implant procedure will be completed in stages, with the process for conventional dental implants taking several months for completion. The process entails the following steps:
The extraction of the damaged teeth or any teeth your are looking to have replaced
The preparation of your jawbone if your natural bone is insufficient. This is usually a bone grafting procedure that adds onto your natural bone.
The placement of your dental implants
The growth of your jawbone and healing of your mouth
Placement of abutments
The final placement of your artificial teeth
Dental implants are available for the replacement of one or multiple teeth, but you should keep in mind that if you are using implants to replace multiple teeth, your costs may add up very quickly for conventional implants.
The Better Option: Stabili-Teeth™
The Stabili-Teeth™ protocol is a same day, lower cost solution that gives you results on your day of surgery without the same high costs of conventional implants.
Stabili-Teeth™ was created as an alternative to the traditional DENTURES AND FIXED DETACHABLES (as in Clear Choice or All-on-Four) because although dentures have their downfalls, they have been proven to work marginally, and while Fixed Detachables work great, the cost remains very high.
Stabili-Teeth™ builds off of the concepts that have been successful and improve upon the aspects of a denture that have failed in the past.
Plus, Stabili-Teeth™ uses a unique combination of conventional implants and narrow diameter implants so that the surgical procedure is less extensive, and it comes with a 5-year warranty.
With Stabili-Teeth™, you walk out of the dentist’s office on your day of surgery with a full set of stabilized prosthetic teeth, and then your final prostheses will be installed once your mouth has healed. However, you still keep the original set of prosthetic teeth as a backup option.
Stabili-Teeth™ also comes at an all-inclusive price of $12,500 for one arch or $21,500 for full mouth restoration, and these prices include tooth extraction, sedation, and any necessary bone grafting procedures.
If you are ready to bring joy back into your life, Stabili-Teeth™ is here to help.
What Should I Expect During the Recovery Process from Dental Implants
In terms of recovery, any kind of dental implant procedure will have a somewhat lengthy recovery process while your mouth heals. After your procedure, you should expect to experience some combination of the following symptoms:
Bleeding at the implant site for 48-72 hours after your surgery. If your implants have been placed on the upper arch, you may also experience some bleeding from your nose.
Bruising, which may start around 2-3 days after your surgery and will occur on your face. The soft tissues in your mouth may also look black, blue, green, or yellow, which happens because of blood that comes to the surface of your gums as your mouth heals.
Swelling in your mouth, cheeks, and eyes for up to 2 days after the surgery. Using a cold compress can help bring the swelling down, and it should subside completely after around 4 days.
General discomfort is to be expected in the days following your surgery, and your lips may also feel dry or stretched. Experiencing a sore throat or some trouble swallowing is also common and may especially be the case if you were sedated. Implant placement generally does not cause a lot of pain.
Dizziness is normal after you leave the office and it is a natural side effect of anesthesia, so it should subside within a few hours.
Nausea and vomiting are also common side effects of anesthesia, especially when anesthesia is administered orally. These symptoms should resolve in about 3 hours, and you may be able to take certain over the counter medicines to help counter these feelings.
You may also experience a low fever, but your fever should not exceed 101.5 degrees Fahrenheit.
There are certain factors that may make affect the length of your recovery process, such as:
The number and location of dental implants that you received
The quality of your oral hygiene
Your smoking habits
How long you were missing your teeth for before having them replaced
Whether bone grafting or sinus lifting procedures were necessary in order for the implants to be placed
Undergoing extra procedures like sinus lifting may make your recovery time longer, but this also depends on the extent of these extra procedures.
If you are ready to enjoy the smile of your dreams at a lower cost and with same day results, you can schedule your Stabili-Teeth™ consultation today using our online form that asks about the current condition of your teeth and mouth.
The Bottom Line
If you are missing multiple teeth, conventional dental implants may seem like a better solution than fixed bridges or dentures, but there are still a few things you may want to consider. Conventional implants can become very expensive very quickly, and are usually priced at several thousand dollars per implant, which means this can add up fast if you need multiple teeth replaced.
Stabili-Teeth™ is a low cost, same day solution that incorporates a unique combination of conventional implants and narrow diameter implants for an easier surgery and optimal results, and Stabili-Teeth™ is a more affordable option. You can get one full arch at an all-inclusive price of $12,500, or full mouth restoration for $21,500, and these prices include sedation, tooth extraction, and even bone grafting procedures. With traditional dental implant methods, bone grafting procedures may cost extra even though they are necessary in many cases.
Stabili-Teeth™ gets you the stability and security that you deserve from dental implants, but it comes without the high costs implants usually entail. Plus, with an easier surgery and a 5-year warranty, you can bring joy back into your life without having to worry about a hassle.
Stabili-Teeth™ can help you get your life back today.
